Contemporary Literatures in English as a domain covers two associations:

World Association for Studies in Literatures in English (WASLE)
Indian Association for Studies in Contemporary Literature (IASCL)
 
It works for the advocacy of humanities especially literature as well as for the promotion of contemporary literature, literary theory, linguistics and literatures in translation under the directions of an advisory council which comprises the following:
